Poem...

Ode to a Nightingale
My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk.
Or emptied some dull opiate in the drains
One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk
'Tis not through envy of thy happy lot,
But being too happy in thy happiness,-
That thou, light-winged Dryad of the trees,
In some melodious plot
Of beechen green and shadow numberless,
Singest of Summer in full-throated case.
John Keats

Camouflage...

Camouflage is a game we all like to play, but our secrets are as surely revealed by what we want to seem to be as by what we want to conceal.

Redworth Hall near Darlington...

I went to a tourism conference today at this beautiful country hotel, Redworth Hall Hotel near Darlington. Having arrived fifteen minutes early, I decided to experiment with my new camera. The ground are delightful. Squirrels, rabbits, beautifully tended trees...
I thought I would be able to take a few more pictures after the conference but it was raining when I came out.
My Viennese mentor, Merisi may be proud for my first attempt...
